Don't Allow Plugins to Run on Modules

Since releasing the Ultimate Social Bookmarking Plugin , several people have complained that the social bookmarking buttons were appearing all over their website. After looking into the issue, it became apparent that these people were using Joomla's standard "User" modules which all had "Mambots" enabled.

The solution is simple: Turn "Mambots" to Off in each of those modules' settings. Every website using User modules should check their module settings. Whether you can see the effects of any plugins or not, every single content plugin will be run on every single User module unless specifically disabled. Turn these all off!

Another option is to download and install an HTML module and replace each User module with HTML modules. This will safegaurd you from plugins being run on your modules, and will also allow you to use JavaScript since User modules will remove any JavaScript you add.
