JomSocial, the popular Facebook-like community component, has officially released version 1.2 of its software! I have upgraded JoomlaDigger.com to the version of JomSocial so feel free to sign up and poke around to get a feel for it.
JomSocial version 1.2 now includes full video sharing so users can share and watch videos directly on your website. It also incorporates Facebook Connect, which imports user and friend data directly to your web site, also allowing your users to invite their Facebook friends to join your web site. The Wall application is now more functional like Facebook's wall, and JomSocial now integrates MyBlog 3.0 directly in its native interface, allowing your users to create their own blogs.
Other new features include advanced searching, Mutual Friends filtering, frontpage member listing filtering, template optimization, new optional HTML upload form (non-Flash), Sql query and php script optimization and much, much more!
