JomSocial 1.6 Officially Released

JomSocial 1.6 (version named "Brillo") has been released! We'll soon be upgrading JoomlaDigger.com to version 1.6 so you can see first-hand how cool this community extension is.

JomSocial version 1.6 has some amazing new features:

• Amazon S3 Storage Support - store all community images and videos on the Amazon S3 cloud!
• Massively enhanced privacy support - Let your users and groups have much more control over their personal info and set who can see what content (just like Facebook)
• Improved Activity Stream - Content previews and very cool organization
• Joomla Module Support - You can now place your Joomla modules anywhere in JomSocial (This is huge, for advertisements and much more!)
• New Enhanced Developer API - 3rd party developers now have much more control and access points for customization (take a look at FellowFishermen.com for a great example of how much you can customize JomSocial)

JomSocial version 1.6 has also addressed and fixed 170 bugs and issues, and has made many improvements visually and behind the scenes.

I personally use JomSocial for my community web sites and I have nothing but praise for Azrul and their JomSocial software. Developers are quick to respond and fix bugs, and it is extremely low priced for the quality and amount of features available.
