Weird URLs being submitted! 3 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0  
Hi,

I'm using this on Joomla 1.5. Just installed it. The Digg icon is showing up okay at the top of each article (although I don't want it to). The rest of the icons show up okay at the bottom of each article page - which I do want it to do.

However, there's something wrong with the URL's it's submitting. I have SEF URLs enabled.

I have a URL of:

MYdomain.com/politics/campaign-08/34-cam...e-just-one-term.html

But when I click on any of the icons, it does this:

MYdomain.com/http://del.icio.us/post?v=4...%20Just%20One%20Term

And it says Page Not Found.

That's it! Any ideas?

It looks like you have some sort of JavaScript error on the page that's messing up the onclick event. I couldn't help you any further unless you give a URL.

It's submitting the Page Title instead of the URL.

This plugin uses the onclick JavaScript event to create the correct URL to submit your page to the social bookmarking sites. It seems as though there is a JavaScript error on your page that breaks the plugin, however I cannot find any JavaScript errors. My only guess is that you have some other kind of JavaScript running on your site that removes the onclick event from links or something like that.

Ok, thanks for your help. I have no idea what that might be. The only thing I'm running is Joomla and the template. The only plugin I think I've installed is this one! So I have no idea. Thanks for your help though.

I see that you have a RocketTheme template, it might be possible that some JavaScript from the template is causing the issue, but I couldn't figure it out. Sorry! There are a few other plugins and modules that may work out better for you over at the extensions.joomla.org site.

Hey, no problem! Thanks for looking at it though.

By the way it just took me like 2 minutes to open this web page - then it hung for like another minute when I tried to login. Seems like your server may have been really slow.
