Site name not displaying 3 Months, 1 Week ago

The title bar of my browser window displays "site name - page title". But when I test and bookmark a page (using delicious, for example), only the page title is saved, not the site name. Is this an issue with the plug-in or Joomla or the way the social bookmarking software works? Is there a workaround?

The plugin uses the title of the article, not the page title. This is because if one of your visitors submits from a blog layout page with several articles listed and the plugin uses the current page title then the title would be completely wrong. Posting the title of your web site after the page title to a social bookmarking site is usually considered spam anyway, you want to stay away from that.

I see what you're saying. But if a bookmark just lists a page as "Home" or "Contact" it's not useful, because can't tell from a glance which site the page is from.

There's no reason you should ever have social bookmarking buttons on a contact page. Just give your articles good descriptive titles and you won't have to worry about it.
If you really want to have your web site name in the submitted titles then go into the buttons XML file and add to the titles.
