I went live with a new site over a month ago and had the ultimate_social_bookmarking_plugin enabled from day one. cool plugin.
site has been slow to load home page all along and performance never improved, it was mentioned to me a few times
and I considered upgrading my hosting options thinking it was an ISP hosting resource issue.

Basically home page would begin to load about 50% and take maybe 1-3 minutes to finish depending on time of day.
I use explorer most of the time, and down in the bottom left hand side of IE, it would say, loading data from www."site".com

out of curiousity I tested the site with firefox and down in the bottom left hand corner it said:
"looking up s3.chuug.com"

hmm, I thought chuug.com was a social networking site, and I said maybe its just having problems connecting to one of the
external links, so I temporarily disabled ultimate_social_bookmarking_plugin and sure enough, my site now loads quickly and perfectly with both IE and Firefox, tested also on 4mb, 12mb and 100mb internet connections.

Any idea how or why this link to s3.chuug.com within the plugin is preventing the site from loading normally?
I don't normally report all items to forums like this, but i like the plugin and at the moment my only option is to disable it.
Just thought I'd let you know to add this one to your list.

It looks like you were experiencing a temporary problem with the TwitThis button. It uses JavaScript from s3.chuug.com, which apparently was running slowly and made your site load slowly. I use that button here on JoomlaDigger.com and I don't have any issues, so you must have been testing it at a bad time. S3 is a storage service from Amazon and is normally very reliable, so you just had bad timing while testing. If you don't want people to be able to quickly add your URLs to Twitter then simply remove the TwitThis button.

Your hosting service has nothing to do with this, this is a loading issue on your browser with the s3.chuug.com site, so getting more expensive hosting will not make any difference here.
